Wineglass Bay Sail Hike
What better place to be a pirate than sailing the high seas and exploring the wilds of the Apple Isle. This unique experience involved a 5 day sail and trek through some of the country’s most beautiful wilderness, to create a series of short films promoting the Tasmanian Walking Co.’s unique adventure holidays.
Cradle Mountain Huts Walk
Cradle Mountain is deservingly rated one of the world’s greatest walks. It has all the ingredients of an epic trek; remote wilderness, old growth forests, stunning campsites and rugged mountains. Add to that the Tasmanian Walking Co’s low impact hut network with hot showers, gourmet food and local wines and you have the perfect combination of experiencing the great outdoors with a few home comforts. For this shoot we had to carry all our camera and camping gear on our backs for the entire journey which really added to the experience.
Bay of Fires Lodge Walk
The final stop on our Tasmanian Walking Co safari was at the iconic Bay of Fires lodge. Perched high above the rugged coastline of north-east Tassie, we’re welcomed by it’s luxurious comforts after two days of trekking. With gourmet food, mouth-watering local wines and spa treatment it was the perfect way to end a fantastic trip.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
