Far North Queensland has long been considered one of Australia’s adventure capitals. Big landscapes and even bigger critters! From the majestic eco system of the the Great Barrier Reef to the verdant jungles of the Daintree Rainforest, FNQ is the only place in the world where two natural World Heritage sites collide and we discovered that there is so much more to this destination than just its reef and rainforest.

When we decided to film the new Anaconda range up around cairns, we knew about the amazing Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest but were not prepared for the diversity of other great locations on offer. From secluded islands and lagoons to hidden lakes and pine forests high in the hinterland we were able to find some hidden gems which provided epic backdrops for the gear and clothing.

The township of Bright situated in the Ovens valley and nestled between the mountains is a beautiful adventure mecca and is the perfect base for a high country roadtrip. Normally a bustling action hub in Summer, the bushfires caused a lot of the small business to suffer dramatically and we were keen to film in the region so that we could inject money into the region and help support the local community
